Charity concert to raise funds for the earthquake victims in Sichuen China on Saturday 28th June, 2008 Latest News : Due to bad weather, the organizer has decided to cancel the concert really sad.
Like everyone, I am deeply saddend with what had happened in the earthquake in China. Together with Lawrence and Alfred I will play at the charity concert. The venue is in Tsim Sha Tsui. Full details are yet to come. Many bands will be appearing on the day, please come and show your support and donate generously. This world needs love and care, do what you can. You can't take it with you when you go and it is always better to give than to receive. |

Blues Night at the Fringe Club 30th Friday March, 2007
This is an event organized by J-Sonic Entertainment. Several bands will be featured on the night. I should be opening the show at 10:30 p.m. On drums will be Lawurence Tsui and on bass Alfred Au. I will most likely open the show and if not the second act on the list. Don't be late.

New York Minute in Sapporo July 2006
On 15th, 16th and 17th July, I will be playing in Setsuko san's bar New York Minute in Sapporo Japan. I have so many good friends there. Every time I go there, I feel as if I am going home and I always think about Robert Johnson's song "Sweet Home Chicago" :- "Oh Baby, don't you want to go ? To to the land of Hokkaido Sweet Home Sapporo"

East Meet Wast Jazz Festival I have been invited to play in the East Meets Wast Jazz Festival taking place in China in early May, 2006. This is a major music event in China with bands from all over the world participating in the event. On 1st and 2nd May I will be playing Goungzhou and on 3rd May in Shenzhen. I am honoured to be invited to play in this international event. Our Rock Story II I have been invited to sit on the panel of three judges for the band competition taking place on Saturday 15th April at the North District Town Hall Auditorium. I am honoured to be invited. On the night there will be 10 band competing. It is always good to see young players performing on stage. Young players are our future. The organizers are so kind as to invite me to perform as one of the guest bands of the show. With me will be Ding san on drums and Ricky san on bass both of when are young players no more than 19 years of age. This will be a great opportunity for them to meet fellow musicians of their own age and share their experience in music.

Postscript : My drmmer Lee Yat Ding nearly got thrown out of The Venue for looking underage. The doorman only let him in after a very thorough examination of his I.D. card. There were more things to deal with closing down 48th Street than opening it. There were just about a thousand and one loose ends to tie up. It was both physically exhausting and mentally debilitating in the last days of 48th Street. I felt absolutely worn out. I will take a break in April, just stay home and do nothing but play music. Just some peace and quiet and nothing but the Blues. In May, I will start looking for shows to play again in Hong Kong. My live performacnes will be posted here. I would to thank the band members of Never N, Anthony, Ding san, Wai san and Sunny Cheung without whose help I really wouldn't know what to do in the last days of 48th Street.
